  • Welcome to the "Easy Acoustic Country Lead" lesson - Minor Key edition! We build off of the previous lesson of the same name but in a Major key. We cover some basic country lead phrasing and techniques like pentatonic scales and double-stops (playing two notes at the same time). I'm using a nylon string classical guitar, but a steel string acoustic would also be at home in country music. This lesson covers fundamentals techniques and is at a nice laid back tempo. This lesson is a good place to start thinking about alternate picking (up/down or down/up) for the descending pentatonic lines.
