Sinisa Cekic14th March 2013Sinisa, Love this lesson, you are great picker, after a while going through this, I started implimenting the travis/bango roll whatever style picking,, using pick and the middle finger ..if I do away with the pick I would use thumb/index middle and even the ring finger is good practice.. what do you say? tia, john
I am more,also, to play without pick in this case. That way you practice motorics of right hand fingers, and the exact intervals between tones, which is good for other genres, not just for a banjo roll. Another way not to lose an edge of tone, and still using thumb as a basis, is the use of Thumb Pick
