  • Hello, welcome to my first lesson on GMC! :)

This lesson is called Metal Solo Eastern Style, because we use Ephrygian-dominant scale often. It is very common in metal to use this scale, and sounds very cool.

The lesson consists of 2 parts. First is rhythm, second one is solo. First part has 3 power chords E5, F5 and A#5, and you can find how it's played in the video 1.

Second part is solo, and it is in the videos 2, 3, 4, and 5. We are using a mix of both E phrygian dominant and E dorian to create some cool metal licks.
