  • Hi folks!

In this lesson we'll take a look at how to solo over a Samba backing track.
This time, we really have to swing to get into the music.

Don't expect an easy lesson - lots of syncopated lines, intervalic arpeggios and many chord changes make this solo a real challenge!
Don't forget to use your fingers to play this one - smoother tone and more articulation!

    Chord progression:

    | G6/9 | Ebmaj7/G | G6/9 | Bm7/9 E7(b9) |

    | Am7/9 B7(b13) | Em7/9 F#7/13 | Bmaj7/9 F#7/13 |

    | Bm7/9 E7/9 Am7 D7/9 |

    | G6/9 | Ebmaj7/G | G6/9 | Dm7 G7/13 |

    | C6/9 Cm6 | Bm7 Bbº/b13 | Am7 Ab7/13 | G6/9 Ab7/13 |

I hope you enjoy my solo and get good personal ideas out of it!
