Hi Friends! Today we’ll work with the Locrian mode harmonized with triads. We have the locrian mode if we play the major scale starting at the seventh note.
Like I always say, the most important thing is to learn the minor 7th b5 arpeggio well, and then you have to add the minor second, the perfect fourth and the minor sixth. Now that we have the Locrian mode, we can harmonize the note of the arpeggios with triads! And you have to do this work of all the neck.
The Locrian mode is composed by the root, minor second, minor third, perfect fourth, dim fifth, minor sixth and minor seventh.
We study the different boxes of this scale like in the other lessons. First starting in the fifth string of the guitar in note B (B minor b5 chord), then in the sixth string in note B too, now in sixth string again but now the box is to the front, then in fourth string, and the last one in fifth string to the back (to the bass direction of the neck).
I harmonize any note of the arpeggio with triads because the idea is that you can play a melody harmonized at the same time but for this pay attention to this work.
Now I recommend practicing every box and pay attention to every note!
Enjoy this!
