  • As you know, bending is one of the techniques that make the guitar so expressive. In today's lesson we'll focus on that technique focusing on precision. If you spend time really training your fingers to reach the desired note, bending can truly help you reach higher musical goals.

Today's lesson will be in the key of B minor. We'll use mostly the B minor pentatonic scale, but know that the B Aeolian scale will also work very well.

As you go through the following licks, make sure that you play the bends in tune. You want to have total control over each note you play. Speed is not the goal here and if any of the examples are too fast, just focus on reaching the desired note with the bends and try to create your own lick at a slower speed.

Work hard, it will pay off!
