Glad you like this! :-)
Sounds excellent, David! Great lesson!
Love the phrases. Really cool lesson!
you got this style just perfect David. Great one
ZZ are great ,these licks also !
Thanks man!
A very fitting lesson in the stylings of the Reverend Mr G!!! Great stuff David, as always!!!!
Thanks man! :-)
Great lesson! And in my opinion this guitar suits you very well, even more than the other one(s).
Gibbons, hell yeah!!
You play that style very well, and authentically. As is typical of your play. You sometimes can sound more like the guy you are covering than the actual guy himself does, if that makes any sense.
Thanks a lot!
For this one I used Guitar Rig 3...
Great style coverage David !
Great lesson, ZZ (ZiZi) Top rules, you nailed the style
Taaasty! Haha, great to see your prize guitar featured here! Awesome lesson
Rock & Roll! Great stuff!
Awesome! Great tone on this lesson David

Nice guitar!
Glad you like this!
The guitar is the Gibson SG I won from the guitar rig contest a little while back.
I thought it would have good use on that lesson! :-)
Awesome licks David!

Cool lesson, Billy was the man. Hell, even Hendrix said he was his favorite American guitarist.
I love this kind of stuff, great lesson David !
Hi David,
Very grooving lesson,
Mr Billy is a great guitarist.A bit underrated i think. Good to put a spotlight on his playing
Awesome, Billy rules big time
Yeah... but I like the Parker more... and ZZ Top of course! Great lesson, David!!
First!
Great lesson ^^
Nice to see you with another guitar as well =)
In today's lesson, we'll take a look at some tasty bluesy licks in the style of Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top. Before you start working through the following ideas, make sure you are comfortable with the minor pentatonic scales we'll be using to build our lead. Check out the diagrams underneath if you are not comfortable with these scales.
Don't worry about speed but strive for a clean and accurate technique. The goal in this lesson is to equip you with ideas that will improve your musical vocabulary.
Once you are done with the written solo, take some time jamming over the looped backing track and try these ideas in your own personal musical way.
Have fun!
