  • Hi GMC, this is my warming up lesson. We will do some of the classical warming up exercises that I did in my school days. This will help you gain speed and equalize your range. This goes very low, so the last key if you are not a baritone you should skip, and do only the firs 5 keys. We will start from C Major scale, and chromaticaly go down to G Major. As I said, G major is very low (even for me). So if you are tenor you should skip it.

(The A Major part is part 7 of the lesson, because the vowels, I put it behind the G major so it would be easier when it comes to practice).

So, starting key is C major.

    Tempo is 120 bpm.

You have 4 different backing tempos here so, a suggest that you start with the 30bpm. Maybe it would seam to slow, but it is not, this kind of exercise is good for your tone, and vibrato.

We will do all the vowels "A" "E" "I" "O" "U", and we will do the vowel "O" one time more.

    Have Fun! :)
