Thank you, Jose! This inspired me to practise alternate picking again! It's nice to see I'm developing with these patterns. I'll try and put up a REC take in a month or so.
Thanks Alejandro
Very useful excersice!
Thanks Danilo
I like and use this runs too! Ah...very useful lesson for beginners. Well done!
Thanks guys, I'm glad you find it useful, they are simple exercises when played without a metronome, with the metronome it becomes a challenge
Very cool alternate exercises Jose !

Very useful excercises, Jose! Well done! This will help my AP for sure!

Great technique friend!! Very fast and Very clean! It is the most important!

You should do a In the Style of PG Lesson, I think it would be interesting
Great exercise!

Very nice
cool Jose!
That's exactly what I was looking for - thanks! How long will it take me to get that fast! Seems like years and years.
Jose - this is great. You say you've used some of these runs in past lessons. Could you guide me to one specifically? I can do these kinds of runs (not as fast - YET!) but I'm having trouble mixing speedy runs into my improvs. I'd like to see how you do it. Nice job!

"Only 160 BMP" - Jose Mena
thanks, glad you like it chmilew
Very nice excercises Jose, well done !
Thanks Muris and fkalich
@fkalich: I am glad you see it this way, I have used a few of these patterns in my solo lessons, then I though it might be a good idea to go deeper into what I was doing with Alternate picking, it seemed important to explain how to do it a little slower to concentrate on timing and accuracy.
Great lesson Jose, it's fast enough for some of us
also, the fact that you play it cleanly, 20bps faster and it is like Gilbert. Articulating notes, There have been other AP lessons in the past, where this has not been the case, you kept it at 160 to make it a good lesson, rather than show what you yourself can do.
Thanks, this is useful. Others have short sections like this, but not so extended. Also your comments on the forum are always intelligent, appreciated.
Nice exercises!
Thanks guys, Even though it isn't fast the idea is to play the 16th notes with the 3 note per string scale shapes, and not get lost with timing. Glad you find it useful as I do.
Very useful exercises Jose !!
..Just a bit to fast for me
