Great first lesson !
still love playing this lesson!!!!
That's great news Fretburns! Well done, glad that this has come in handy for you and your playing:)
that was a great lesson,,i can pretty much play that at your speed most of the time now...plus i can use your tapping sweep patterns in my own playing...thanks Ian!!!
thanks Ian..as yet tho i dont have video cam..but im thinkin bout gettin one sometime...i would like to have tried to play it for you...also to see myself playing it,as that could be inspiring to see how good im getting(or not)
got the full speed today,,but its still a bit rusty,,awsome stuff!! Thanks IaN
Awesome lesson
Just the kind of stuff i want to learn!
ive just managed the 190 bpm today!! cant do it every time yet tho,,its that 1st bit that kills me everytime.....you need to be a hillbilly with your eyes goin both directions at same time
Hay Fretburns!
It didn't take to long to get up to speed... but in fairness that kind of sequence is very comfortable for me to play in scales and arpeggios. Know all your shapes seperately, know where your hands are going and start slow...you'll get it;)
hi Ian,, how slowly did you have to practise this piece when you first learnt it,,and how long did it take to reach that blistering speed?
wow...im improving loads, because i can sweep those shapes,im starting to see them quicker in my head.....that speed is still like 10yrs away....sorry to keep posting, but im really loving this lesson...thanks
ive learnt all parts now, just need to string them together...then work on my speed for about 10yrs lol
Hay Fretburns!
It's a pleasure glad it helped you out. Let me know if you have any questions.
Keep rocking:)
fantastic!!! ive only just really started exploiting tapping, and this lesson is just awsome...i liked the two arps you wrote out seperatly,it made learning the 1st lick easier...lol...cant wait to learn it all when my brain can remember all of them...thanks...very inspiring
Thanks for the kind words:)
I am glad the lesson is helping your tapping technique:)
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the lesson.
Love this lesson! I have never really worked on tapping too much before this. Been learning this for a day and can already see a huge improvement.
Hey man, your lessons are great, I just saw your newest lesson, and did a search to see more. Turns out you are new here just like me, and only have 3. I can't wait to see more.
This one reminds me of Nuno Bettencourt, tapping arpeggios. I've always wanted to learn a lick like this.
