Hello GMC :) Today we continue with my Lydian Phrasing serial and as a final part we have Advanced level.
I recorded this lesson using my new Ibanez Jem so it probably sounds like Steve Vai here and there, comes with the territory, inlays and such. :) But I assure you that there are some chops which are not in Vai's style and this is not In Style Of lesson. :D
So, as before we are using the same backing at 90bpm, we start from E Lydian, modulate to Bb Lydian and back to E Lydian once more.
This lesson contains lots of different techniques, from straight Alternate Picking,Hybrid Picking, Legato, Tapping etc. One thing to notice, you should have a guitar with 24 frets and floating bridge to do it 100%. But even if you don't have it, you can always change certain licks on your own. :)
