Minor Pentatonic Add 9th - A minor - 95 bpm
-------------------------------------------

In this study I'll show you five licks. Each one is build around a pentatonic add 9th box, to help you learn them fast, and get the sound of this sixth notes scale in your ears.

Theory Focus
------------

To create minor pentatonic add 9th scale, we simply have to add the major 9th (or second) from the A natural minor parent scale, in this case the note "B", leaving us with a sixth notes scale, with a more dramatic sound, if compared with the standard minor pentatonic.

Pro Tips
--------

You can practicing these new scale, playing in sequence the minor pentatonic scale ascending and the minor pentatonic add 9th descending, once again compare shapes that you already know with new material, will accelerate your learning process.
