As you probably discovered in your guitar journey, pentatonics are extremely useful to create very cool solos.
But what if we added some notes to them? How about adding to the pentatonics the notes that would make them work on modes?

That's what we'll do in today's lesson. We will concentrate here on the Phrygian mode. Adding a minor 2nd to the minor pentatonic will perfectly blend the pentatonic scale on a modal Phrygian chord progression.

Memorize the scales and examples and make sure you understand the theory behind these licks.
