  • Hi all! :) Todays lesson is based around one of my songs called "The Grid", and it's targeted towards the more intermediate players. But hopefully beginners will pick up some usefull things too :)

There's a few different techniques used here, but the most dominant technique here is the pulloffs
that starts the lesson and later continued with a variation in the solo. I also use small triplet-runs throughout the lesson, both in the rhythm parts and solo parts.

Well, enough talking. Let's get to it :)

    BPM: 110
    TimeSig: 4/4
    Key: Bm

What I used to make this lesson:
    Software:
    Cubase SX 3.0 (Daw)
    Toontrack Superior (Drums)
    Trilogy (Bass)
    TRacks (Compressor and EQ)

    Hardware:
    Guitar:
    Jackson SLSMG
Amp: Marshall JMP-1 (OD 2 channel with gain on 90%, bass and treble on high and mid almost on zero).

The amp is connected straight into my soundcard with no additional processing.

I've included a few backingtracks and a GuitarPro file.
    Hope you like it! :)

And feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions!
