  • Welcome to this southern rock lesson! We'll take a look at a song written in the style of bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman bros, ZZ Top and so on.

    That style has a lot to do with blues, so it's important that you get familiar with the blues scale first. We'll play in two different keys here: A blues, and E blues.

    As always, once you are comfortable with the different examples, use them in your own music ans make them your own.
