In deed very dark Vasilije - also it is really cool to hear that the midi sounding snare drum worked well in this arrangement! You created an interesting atmosphere.
Hi GMC!
Today we will explore the different positions and ways of playing min6, 9 and 7-5 chords, and their application in fusion and creating and intense atmosphere. The particular “dark” atmosphere created here is not something that has to do with chords it self or harmony in general, but with chord shapes and modulations created along the way. Pay attention to the way chords are strummed, same rhythmical shape is repeated throughout the whole chord sequence.
Chord sequence is:
C min9/6
D min7-5
F min7-5
D# min6/9
C min 6/9
D min7-5
F min7-5
G# min7-5
D min 6/9
A min 11
C min9
A# min9
Enjoy!
