Thanks a lot Laszlo, I went back&fourth lots of times with the original to nail the tone.
Your sound was absolutely similar to the original. Great playing and great cover!
Thanks a lot everyone, glad you like it.
Great song and playing Ivan ! Like it much
btw, I had a ticket for the concert, but I had a job and couldn't go.
Very cool cover, Ivan!
so simple yet so much feeling,
I noticed you don't do strict alternate picking in the arpeggios. So we can break the rules when needed.
Thanks a lot everybody
Great Ivan, well done!
Beautiful! I had a request on youtube to make a lesson on this song - only he wanted the soloing as lyrics were sung. He gave me a video of a guy who was playing it. I still need to do it.
awesome!!
A classic. Great lesson
That was perfect Ivan .... Thanks for this lesson..

Very Nice.
Beatiful song!
Thanks for the lesson.
Great interpretation!
You reminded me about ongoing Clapton's concert in BG!
Very nice Ivan - given the amount of beginner students we have we need a whole lot more of cool beginner lessons. Thanks!
In this lesson we are covering Clapton's famous ballad. The form of the song is pretty basic, it has very similar parts throughout the song, so learning it should be easy, and playing it should be fun! :)
The song has one lead lick that is covered in video 2, and that repeats throughout the song. Videos 3 and 4 cover rhythm parts, that contain 3 chords (plus 3 more in the video 4). All the chords use open string position, so they should be easy for playing.
Here is the whole song structure:
- lead riff (video 2)
- verse 1 (video 3)
- chorus (video 4)
- lead riff (video 2)
- verse 2 (video 3)
- chorus (video 4)
- bridge (video 4)
- lead riff (video 2)
- verse 3 (video 3)
- chorus (video 4)
- lead riff (video 2)
Here is the list of chords:
