Do you remember this slap and pop lesson?
    Slap Exercises (Essentials)
Here I show you how to use your fingers to play the SLAP and POP technique on the guitar. For the Slap the thumb finger is used and the Index is used for pop but I like to use the Middle. Pop can be divided into two: with finger or with nail, which sounds much more higher. I also show you how to clean the sound and not hear unwanted strings. You can enrich this technique by combining notes with sustain and staccato notes. I hope you like it and enjoy it. If you have any questions, you can ask me.

    -Techniques:
    Slap & Pop

    -Sound:
I play a MELANCON Custom Artist T, Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Amp, Clean channel, Shure SM57 -> off axis.

    -Tuning:
    Standard tuning: E,A,D,G,B,E

    -TONE TIPS:
-To get the right tone I recommend single coils or -like I have used in this video- two single coils on middle position, in or out of phase to make it more thing.
-To get more clean sound I recommend middle string action, not too high but not too low to get fret buzz.
-I have used clean amp sound and a little of compression with "SP compressor", nothing else.

    -Videos:
    SLAP.
TECHNIQUE: For SLAP hit the string with the side bone of the thumb finger.
    SLAP one string.
TECHNIQUE: For SLAP only one string. To avoid accidentally hitting more than one string, your left hand should mute unwanted strings.
    POP index-middle.
TECHNIQUE: POP index or middle. Put your index or middle finger or use the nail under the string and pull it out.
    POP sustain o staccato.
TECHNIQUE: You can combine POP sustained sound and POP Staccato sound.
