Dropped D Riffing (in B Minor)

Hello friends of GMC! In this opportunity we will study the creation of powerful riffs! For this lesson I have recorded it using dropped D tuning (From low to high D A D G B E).

The creation of a riff is based on playing with the main notes of the scale that we are using. In this case, the scale of B minor! (B C * D and F * G A). It is very important to bear in mind the progression of chords that we are going to play!

This lesson is divided in two parts, in the first, we will study the powerful riff, and in the second, we will study the chord progression and how to arrange it. This progression play with a great melody, and I believe that it is very important to study these compositions; with them you will develop techniques, speed and the aptitude to create your own songs!

The variations in the tempo turn out very interesting, and in this lesson we will see a clear example. This lesson technique focuses wisely on Alternate picking, string skipping, and some vibratos!
