Cool jazz lines, Jerry! Very useful lesson!
Hello dear GMC:ers,
with this lesson we are going to study how to improvise over chord changes, using the same scale as long as we can. This is the basic concept for diatonic improvisation.
I chose the progression from "Lover Man", a jazz standard piece. Take a look at video #1 to listen and read some theory about chords and scales.
It's very important to master some previous lessons like Buiding Chords, Triads and Inversions and II-V-I Progression: Licks.
Happy improvising!
