Hi GMC! Since there are several ways to teach modes, I made this lesson to give you some practical stuff to use. Check video #1 to read and listen the theory about this lesson.
I played all modes using the alternate picking technique. Start learning one mode at time. You find the scale diagram I used for each mode under the tab section.
I made a Jam backing track at 120 bpm. The structure here is:
16 bars for jamming over C7M chord using C Ionian mode
16 bars for jamming over Cm7 chord using C Dorian mode
16 bars for jamming over Cm7 chord using C Phrygian mode
and so on...
