Nice lesson David.
Shows that a good solo doesn't have to be difficult or very fast.
Great tune David!
A little while back, we started a series of lesson showing you how to get into lead guitar playing the easy way. We started by building minor pentatonic licks, then moved on to the natural minor scale (Aeolian mode). Today we will blend both of these scales together.
The chords of the backing track are in A minor:
Am G F G
Am G F
Am G F G
Am G F
Dm Em
F -
Am G F G
Am G F
Make sure you are comfortable with the used scales and pay attention to the rhythm placement of the following licks. Once you are comfortable with the written parts, try to come up with your own ideas.
Practice well!
