  • Greetings GMC! Time for some METAL \m/

I've borrowed a blues based concept known as call and response for this lesson. A call (riff) followed by an answer (lead). Read more on lick 3!

Scales and arpeggios for the lesson:
Db natural minor, Db harmonic minor and D diminished 7th arpeggio. Tabs include finger suggestions and picking directions.

Tuning is drop tuned a 1/2 step down. From low to high - Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb

Set the gain on your distortion to what sounds good to you between a 1/2 and 3/4. Slight reverb and minimal delay will help get the sound too.

The techniques used to play the 16th note lead sequences are:
Alternate picking, Sweep Picking, Legato and Tapping.

The Key is Db minor and the time signature is 4/4.
There are 4 backing tracks for you to jam with at 4 different speeds.
    Main tempo is 165 B.P.M

    Jam on!

    Ian
