  • Hi GMC. Welcome to my new Timbaland in style ballad lesson. For this lesson I tried to capture the vibe of this well known producer. I was not interested in his style, and I was sure that he is going to "fade" away from the music scene like so many of them, but he proved me wrong. He has a good ear for making songs hits, and that is always hard to do, and even harder if you are a constant hit maker like he is.

    The lesson:

We will go more through the parts of the lesson through the text below to parts them, but in short, this is a hip hop/r&b ballad that contains both musical and lyrical maturity. This lesson is special for me in many reasons. First of all I had a lot of preparing to do. I wanted to capture the energy of Timbaland ballads from Justin to One Republic. And in the end give it some of my signature. So, I hope you will enjoy this lesson as much as I did making it.

    Lyrics:
    Sail away.....
    never never turn around.

    Make the life you want
With another, another, another, another man

I'm just never gonna be the right for you
to care for you, to watch for you

And it's a shame we are never gonna change the world around
And it's a shame we are never gonna change the world....
And it's always gonna be the same....

It's the same It's the same It's the same It's the same
And it's really never gonna change

It's the same It's the same It's the same It's the same
And you really need to sail away

It's the same It's the same It's the same It's the same
And it's really never gonna change

It's the same It's the same It's the same It's the same
And you really need to sail away
