Mmm.. I'd like to have the N5 to get a real single-coil tone, even I can split the humbuckers on my N2.

Yeah, I'm a "real" fan of Nuno. I have all its CDs, from Extreme, his solo work Schizophonic, MW, Pop1, DramaGods... Well I haven't the Satellite Party album but I didn't liked their music from what I've seen on the web. Even Nuno didn't like the band, in the long time
I was lucky to meet the man in 2005 in Germany. He was playing with Near Death Experience/Population 1, the same band that became DramaGods after awhile. Very nice guy. - JD_27th September 2011

I made a little different setting. By the way, this help me to record the lesson more quickly, without using SM57 mic, head, cabinet... a lot of saved time!!!!

Hello GMC - with this lesson I will try to introduce to the Nuno Bettencourt's guitar playing.
Nuno came up with Extreme around in the early 90's. His playing was influenced by guitarists like Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Al Di Meola and others.
I always loved his writing skills. When I started to listen to Extreme records, I have been amazed by
the guitar parts. There are a lot of groovy riffs, awesome solos, acoustic parts and so on.
I would to dedicate this lesson to my friend Oliver. He made me listen to Extreme for the first time, when I was a young boy.
Ooops! I forgot to paint my nails black...
