  • Hi guys!
It's been a while from my first Nuno lesson here at GMC.

Meanwhile I've got many requests about another lesson in the style of Nuno. Well, now you can notice a 'nice upgrade' on the guitar :D A lot of people around the world are trying to get a sound similar to Nuno. In my opinion one of the secret is his picking hand. It's not a matter of playing the right notes with the right timing. You should use a kind of 'aggressive picking'. A good muting technique for both hands should help too to get his percussive sound. Anyway, this is the preset I used for the Korg Pandora PX4D for this lesson:

    Dyna: Dynaexc 5.0
    Amp: UK '80s - Gain 10.0 - Bass 5.0 - Treble 7.7 - Middle 7.7
    Cab: 4x12MDN - Value 6.7
    Dly: PPDLY1 - Value 4.7 - Delay Time 305
    Rev: Plate1 - Value 3.0
    NR: Value 5.7

Guitar tuned down 1/2 step. Nuno uses this tuning most of the time.

Key: E major - sounds like Eb major
    Time signature: 4/4
    Tempo: 152 bpm

    Start rockin'!

Aaaah, once again! I forgot the black over my fingernails.
