Fingerstyle 12 bar blues rhythm using 9th chords.

I wanna show you a variation of the basic root/fifth power chord, the add9th. As the name says this power chords have, apart from root and fifth and added 9th, that is the same note as the second, just an octave higher.

A way to spice up the old and trusty A minor pentatonic scale. Every ones uses it, from beginner to top player, but sometimes you can get bored by that five notes scale so, why don't add some extra notes?

A slow modern blues, similar to styles of Gary Moore, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. In this lesson I combined the following techniques: bend, bend/release, slide, hammer-on, pull-off and vibrato. It is in A Minor key with some additions of F9 and E9+ chords.

We go through 4 chord inversion on 4 adjacent treble strings, 4 adjacent middle strings and 4 adjacent bass strings. These inversion are all the dominant voicings that you`ll be needing in order to make some great funk riffs or vamps.
