  • Hello folks! Welcome to my new lesson, in the style of John Sykes. What to say about him… I think he’s one of the great 80’s guitar players. In my opinion he got an incredible technique and a lot of felling. May be, these two things became him an icon of the heavy music and, of course, the guitar world.

But I want to be sincere with you. The first time I heard him was when I listened the Whitesnake’s album 1987. Yeah!! It’s an incredible album of Coverdale’s band and, maybe, the best album of that band… have it all, nice rocker songs, beautiful ballads, the amazing voice of Mr. Coverdale and the fantastic guitar of Mr. Sykes.

Well, for this time, I tried to record a lesson in the style of John Sykes and the 1987 Whitesnake’s album; so, I hope you like it.

I recorded the lesson in drop D.

    Bye!
