Vesterkave; the Mixolydian scale that I wrote is a 3 note per string pattern. Remember that there are many many different ways to play a scale on the guitar, that is because you can play th same note on diferent frets unlike a piano.
The first shape is a Mixolydian pentatonic. You can go back to the first lesson of the series for a better understanding of what that means...

The A Mixolydian scale shown in this ex dos'nt look like the scale I have (all boxes) in my book. Is it a "pure" Mix Lydian scale or have I misunderstood something? Great scale all the same :-)
