Hey guys, welcome to the fifth lesson of the Pentatonic Workshop Series. As promised, today we are doing something besides plain practice. Today we are going to learn some cool pentatonic licks. :)

If you've watched the whole series, you can recognize most of the elements used on this small solo, made from a number of different licks. If you've practiced all those exercises in previous lessons, this one will be a walk in the park for you, and you will see some ways to apply that knowledge.

In this lesson all our work comes together and begins to make sense in a practical way, and real life use. We will use the slides and intervals, and work on our bending and vibrato technique to add some phrasing character to our licks.

Also stay tuned for the last lesson of the series where we will use not one but four different pentatonic scales around one key to give our improvising a whole new fusion/funky direction and flavor. So have fun! :)

This lesson contains:
- Pentatonic licks
- Vibrato and bends
- Phrasing

Sound:
Bridge humbucker, Marshall Drive Channel.
