Been playing guitar since: 1984

I started playing at the age of 14. In the beginning I learned from tapes and from my friends.

Later I studied jazz-guitar for 3 years.

My first guitar was a Cremona acoustic, and the first thing I learned was an Iron Maiden riff. My first more serious electric guitar was an Alabama type Fender copy . Then I used Ibanez and Fender guitars for years. Currently I'm playing playing on Washburn.

Playing and Influences

I often listen to music, but my favorites are the progressive rock ,blues and jazz-rock.

What I always listen to with pleasure : Pink Floyd

My first inspiration was Yngwie Malmsteen and a more coming late Steve Vai after his Passion and Warfare CD. But in addition there were many guitar-players who had a great impact on me.

Some of them: Vinnie moore, Steve Lukather, George Lynch, Frank Gambale, Pat Metheny, Robben Ford, Mike Stern, Steve Ray Vaughan.

At GMC

GMC is the BEST place where everyone can do what he likes, both students and instructors. The team is very good, everyone is very helpful. It's a good feeling to belong to a team like this.
