Hi there! Welcome to '8-Finger Tapping Basics #8'! In this lesson you will learn a simple but effective exercise.
This time, we will only use our tapping hand, for playing legato. As you can see, the already familiar technique we use in this lesson is hammer-on.
The idea is to play two notes per string and moving on to the next fret, and so on... doing that and combining every pair of fingers, until they become (as much as possible) equally usable.
This exercise, although kind of hard in some parts, especially when using ring and little fingers, should help you strengthen your right hand fingers, and give you more endurance for playing legato.
Note that this exercise is effective only if you are persistent enough.
