  • Hey guys!

    In this lesson, we will play the rhythm and the solo section of a song that I wrote recently.

    It's a lyrical metal solo in D#m played using a variety of different techniques.

    The sound of it is inspired by some of my favorite rock/metal players: John Petrucci and Paul Gilbert!

    Equipment : Kemper + Apollo Twin Duo

    Tempo : 70 bpm

    Time Signature : 4/4

    Chord progression

    || D#5/A# | F#/C# | B5 | G#5 || 6x

    Key signature : D#m

    Techniques used :

    - Hammer On/Pull Off
    - Sweep Picking
    - Legato
    - Alternate Picking

    Have fun and stay tuned for the next lesson! ;)
