It's easy for guitar players to get stuck in the same area of the fretboard while improvising. In this lesson we'll study a little exercise using open strings that should help you see your scales in a new linear way.
We'll use a combination of hammer-ons and pull offs to create a nice rhythm flow that could also be the base of riff ideas.
Work on all the shapes and practice this exercise on all the strings. Remember that when it comes to guitar, knowledge is power. Memorize everything and have fun!
